Government press conference building, Berlin

Schiffbauerdamm 40, 10117 Berlin

This building in Berlin is a new construction by the Kronprinzenbrücke bridge, opposite the parliament buildings on the so-called "Spreebogen" where the river meanders. The glass-roofed courtyard acts as a lobby for the press room which is accessed by a large outdoor staircase and has a characteristic large panoramic window protruding from the facade. The building is fitted out with Creatherm radiators.

China Shipping Hamburg

Am Sandtorkai 60, 20457 Hamburg

The China Shipping Agency GmbH office building on the Sandtorkai quay in Hamburg was awarded with the Architecture Prize in 2005. The complex captivates onlookers with its outer steel structure and has a supporting structure that protrudes by approx. 10 metres. The base of the building later became part of the new levee. During construction the "ship impact" load case had to be taken into account. Here, convectors were installed.

Elbberg Campus Hamburg

Modern architecture by the port - On the roof of this low building, we can find a large wooden deck, which serves as a public observation deck. The wooden deck blends in perfectly with the theme of the larger, neighbouring building, the shape of which is reminiscent of a luxury liner. A tongue of land was deposited in the Elbe for this steel and glass building. Convectors have been skilfully integrated by the glass fronts.

Theological College, Bamberg

Heinrichsdamm 32, 96047 Bamberg

This square building has four wings with central facilities and an inner courtyard. There is an extended side wing for each of the two seminaries and light floods the building thanks to its design. The tower was erected in a modern, cubical style. Specifically designed furniture was used to furnish the seminary. The entire facility was totally refurbished and modernised from 2001 to 2007. Column radiators were installed.

Federal Administrative Court Leipzig

The Federal Administrative Court (BVerwG) is the highest court in the Federal Republic of Germany that handles civil legal disputes that do not deal with matters involving constitutionality and, together with the Federal Labour Court, Federal High Court, Federal Tax Court and Federal Social Court, is one of the five high courts in Germany. It is located in the building occupied by the former German Imperial Supreme Court in Leipzig and is equipped with column radiators.
