German National Library, Leipzig

The extension to the German National Library in Leipzig was opened in May 2011. More than 150 Ascotherm curved trench convectors were installed along the rounded glass facade and a smoke exhaust system was incorporated into part of the ductwork. The Initial occupancy was on May 20th 2016. A special focus should be placed on the economic an practical architecture and infrastructure, which provides well-being for pupils and teachers.
